The ORANGE Coalition Needs Your Help

As you may remember, in August, the ORANGE Coalition presented recommendations to the Scottsdale Charter Review Task Force to amend the City Charter to include language that protects private property.

On May 18, the Charter Review Task force will hold a joint meeting with the Scottsdale City Council to decide which of those amendments will be presented to the voters on the November 2nd ballot.  It is imperative that the Council allow the democratic process to work by forwarding all of the ORANGE Coalition’s amendments to the voters.

We need you to join us at that meeting to support our amendment language!

The meeting starts at 4:00 pm at the City Hall Kiva Forum, 3939 N. Drinkwater Boulevard.  We will have ORANGE Coalition shirts for supporters who attend the meeting.

If you cannot attend the meeting and would like to voice your opinion to the City Council, you may do so by viewing the agenda on the City’s website and clicking on the button on the top of the page.  Our item is number 20.

Additionally, the Arizona Capitol Times is holding its annual survey and we would like the ORANGE Coalition to be recognized for our grassroots organization.  Anyone can vote in the survey.  On question 27, please type ORANGE Coalition into the “other” box.  You do not have to vote in the other categories if you don’t want to.

We would like to thank you again for being a part of our coalition.  The protection of private property is an important issue to all Americans.  Please keep visiting us for updates and information.
